Cable Protector Components for KIA Motors

Solution and Implementation
Received CAD Models from the OEM, but lacking in manufacturing feasibility. Overcame challenges by assessing fitment, determining critical dimensions, and adding draft angles for mould release.

Result and Visuals
Completed DFM, Moldflow Analysis, and took the risk of tooling. Second trial produced samples with correct dimensions, visual integrity, and perfect assembly fitment.

Conclusion 
Learned a valuable lesson. Implemented a rule: Ensure CAD feasibility, Inspection Checkpoints, and fitment part lists before project initiation to streamline timelines and achieve first-time-right samples.
